Hi guys 2 weeks into veg. Roots are coming through the bottom so I will put them in my auto pots tonight. I have been feeding them shogun samurai coco a + b and just added some cal mag. Doing a e.c of 0.6. Using Wilma coco lite 22 also.. they have been sat under a 400w. When I put them in the bigger pots I will use 2x 600w or is that too much to start ? I have noticed there is some spots on the leafs though not sure what it is

Are you monitoring PH? Looks to be PH related.

Hi mate. Nope I haven’t measured the p.h. What is the magic number ? Also how do I ph up and down ?

5.8 is the number you are looking for... myself I ony need PH down as my tap water is 7.8

Is that stuff, let's say, less volatile than grow tech stuff I got M_C?

Sometimes 1 drip gives me roughly where I need to be, other times I get pH 3 and the drain gets fed instead.

(I've watered it down first)

Watch out for the strength of it.... the stuff I have at the moment is far too strong & has the same effect you mention whereas the essentials tends to be 25%, so much more manageable
