This is what to watch out for with VPNs, otherwise you are just swapping the company holding the data... always look for a VPN that has no logs.

It's the first thing I check for on VPNs... bare in mind that many people around the world could face the death penalty for what they post, last thing they need is the VPN tracking them instead!

Tor and Orbot and Orfox has their own VPN that once installed is all integrated into the Android environment. And it's free too. Worth giving that a go unless you're dead set on CyberGhost.

Only real issue with TOR is speed... but that relies on exit nodes... and who ever controls the exit nodes controls the traffic... and exit nodes increased immensely a few year back - that's correct, the NSA became involved Whilst a VPN is a good idea with TOR, to me it would make sense to have a 3rd party VPN then TOR... That said, I haven't really looked at Orbot or Orfox - I'll take a look

Orfox looks like just a mobile TOR... BUT! Orbot will leak

I like using protonmail for email purposes but they also do a VPN and have both free and paid for options.

They have strict privacy laws in Switzerland and store no logs whatsoever.

    Might be worth checking out

Interestingly, a lot of our spammers use protonmail - that, in itself, probably means it's a good system LOL
