Nice idea, I'll have to give it a whirl sometime! I'm still only new here but I'm always astounded by the resourcefulness on this forum! Well done dude!

It can take a week or two to recover after something goes wrong. They look great to me though.

I can’t see that being a problem the mop bucket net is designed to withstand force of a moo being squeezed down on it. You have e to push pretty hard before it flips or breaks the pot.

Maybe a cheap mop bucket poorly made accidents can happen but generally I do t think this would be a problem at all. Mop buckets are perfect for dwc get 2 and when changing resourvour you just fill the empty bucket with nutes and transfer net to other bucket and use the big wide open hole to put the airstone In and cover.

    Done.

Do you realise this thread is 6 years old. Then the next question of is . Is the mop bucket drinking water safe ? As most cheap plastics will leach chemicals back into the water . Contamination of ya plants with cheap plastics. Any dwc/hydro pipes tubs buckets etc etc. Should be drinking water safe 🇬🇧
