    Default Answered: dumb question but never done it...

    So, i need to apply so DE dust powder silca stuff to my pots. However, no good if wet. So, i need to bottom feed for a few days. But how the feck do you bottom feed 20 ltr air pots? any advice welcome thankyou

    just keep topping up the saucers until it stops wicking,

    then drain as normal at the end, works better than ud guess"

    If you have and saucers or garland trays fill em with a few inches of water and the medium will simply wick the water,
    just keep topping up the saucers until it stops wicking,

    then drain as normal at the end, works better than ud guess

    ok monster ill try that, will it work even though the pots are still quite saturated? ah well fuck it ill find out i guess lol thanks man

    when needed ive been "injecting" the airpot about halfway down.
    just by sticking a pipe into one of the holes and into the soil a bit,with a funnel connected to the pipe.

    seems to work with gnats as they need to top couple of inches to be wet,and this way, the top is always dry

    think i might rig it up on all my pots and always water like this now,might even work with a drip bottle.

    Not a bad idea at all mate! Soil is a bitch to work with when in airpots, this defo might help it be a bit less of a bitch

    oki what i have done - bought a tub around 8 inch high, sit pots in there and put 4 litres water in, let it wick up for an hour or so. keep an eye on level its at by sticking finger in for moisture detention. ill get there lads.....Macky fella looking loads better now after 1 hit, i will do the other hit of neem on monday. thanks guys have a great week end

    wicking at one time was all the rage, just glad ya got it sorted for now smoby!
    with happy girls it just makes the hole growing thing so much easier/smoother

    in an airpot feeding from the top is a nightmare with water running everywhere,
    so bottom feeding can make it that little bit easier to get fully saturated without overwatering the entire thing
