    Default Leaf movement question

So this plant started to tuck its leaves in day before yesterday. At first I thought it was because there was a dead spot in my lighting but I moved the plant and the leaves do not move. I have recently altered their lighting to be stronger and closer to them (led lighting went from around 50w of blurple @ 12" to 50w full spectrum and 25w blurple @ 10"). Could that be causing the plant to tuck its leaves to avoid too much light?

    Thank you for your time.

The plant is not showing any signs of light stress IMO.

Could be over watering, how often are you watering?

Hello mate, how long have the plants been in that small container, and when are you planning on potting up. I would say you have a pretty tight root ball going on in there at the minute.

I think too long is the answer. That plant is over 2 weeks old. I can pot it up tonight. Need to clear space for seedlings anyway.

OK buddy that is pretty much what is holding your plant back and making them look less than perfect. When you re-pot them, make sure you have plenty of good drainage going on. You only want to water when your plant grow medium is relatively dry. The pot should feel "light" or you can poke your finger up till the second knuckle and the soil/compost is not damp.

Watering every day makes for lazy roots, make them work finding water and they will be strong and healthy. Soggy roots also rot, and are breeding place for disease.

    Enjoy.

Hey Viz, finally got a chance to repot.

1 gallon fabric pot frog soil, 20% worm castings, 25% perlite.

    Thank you
