Some Colas not fattening.

I took the bull by the horns this morning and tried to salvage this grow.

I tried to cut out some of the branches but as started to unravel some of the very dense branches with the airy buds they all appeared to be from one plant.
This plant was huge and was taking up about 75% of the tent.

So I have decided to chop it and allow the others to have more light and to improve circulation.

It appears the the problem with the huge plant has developed because oh a split that happened to the main stem early in flower when I was training it. See pic

So here is the plant I choped it was never going to mature.

Now it is sticky as hell and a great smell of it. I haven't got a chance to look at it under the microscope and check the tricomes.

Is it worth the effort to dry decarb and make a few edibles or will it be a waste of effort.

These were close to 9 weeks into flower.

Some of these buds are not fattening.

I think I know the problem here just looking for confirmation and possible case of action if possible.

Currently in day 62 of 12/12 following 8 weeks in veg.
Plants were topped in veg.

These guys got super stretchy in early flower they almost trebled in height and left very little space in the tent.

Around day 25 of flower I was forced to super crop these and with a combination of bending and tying was able to keep them down a bit.

When plants were tied down they seemed to generate more bud sites.

Some of my stalks are coming of secondary stems.
Perhaps these are taking too much food from the main stem.

I think my canopy is too dense.

I do also have a good number of colas that look and feel decent. I think they might be 2 or 3 weeks away.

jeez man, sometimes things go renegade. i have a cheese that i've grown many many times, this time though shes has decided to grow up and over a meter from the pot. Any one who sees my grows knows that is not how i have it lol. honestly mate its so big im embarrassed to show her.

Whats happened here? why the nets below? is this a scrog gone wrong?

I believe that this particular plant just exploded due to a split that happened on the main stem about week 2 or 3 of flower.
The other 3 plants in the grow are looking sweet.

na mate its a sea of amazonian woman and thrip infestation

I do for the first part of veg / early flower what i call high stress training, although i lay off a bit in flower. I end up with spiders lol
