Default Answered: Trying to achieve tighter buds?

I'm trying to find the way that the buds become tighter, without so much air between them. I remember that i read about the stretching which is a main reason why collas become more air"y, but is there any serious tip for getting these babies look and be like stones? Or did you recommend to watch out for specific mistakes that made them become air'y?
I'm interested to know about auto strains mainly

  2. "it's often pheno and light intensity dependent,
lower levels of light can often equal airy bud that aren't compact/dense, same for some phenotypes,

everyone gets that plant that didn't yield like here siblings, even under the same growing environment..."

That airy weed is mostly because of high N.
In flowering you need to bring the N down and bring up the P and K.

Are you growing organic, mineral or both? Hydro?

you could use a natural pgr (progressive growth regulator ) like bio diesel nutrient seems to work ok for me stops stretch and harder nuggets and shortens up flowering time have a look around the net for organic pgr might help might not,

Monster energy hit it spot on, or at least it is the number one cause anyway. What do you have for lights and space? The lack of light will mean you can't use the N as orderly has stated.

Experimental grow over the counter dirt. 4x4 tent.

That CFL isn't doing much, but pulling elect. Here is a picture of a 3 week old plant under 100/23W CFL 24/0 and one under 250W MH 16/8 also 3 weeks. Look at the difference.

The little one is a Double Black Domina 98, lots of N in her soil, and the bigger one is Critical Kush, same soil, but seems to distribute the N differently. Bright lights for tighter buds. It might have something to do with pot size just guessing on the N thing.
