'Worst Plant Of The Month/Season' :)


Ok growers, tokers and jokers, with Grub away on a sabbatical this competition has slipped off the radar a little but, better late than never, here we go again...

The competition is just the same as the POTM competition, but also the complete opposite. - Forget about huge, lush looking plants with monster buds... In this competition we are looking for the most battered, ill-treated, burnt, heat-stressed, weedy and sad looking plant that you have had the misfortune to grow since the last WPOTM competition in February.

To be in with a chance of winning you will need to enter ONE photo of your worst plant that you have grown since the last competition. You have until the 31st August 2013 to enter a photograph, whereupon two weeks of voting will commence to see who's plant really is deemed to be the worst! :)




Competition Rules!
Please read carefully to avoid a good :sexy smilie 15:

1, Only ONE picture of a plant is allowed to be entered per member.

2, All plants entered in this comp must be alive when the photo was taken... no dead twigs or harvested plants.

3, Please keep all pictures to 640 x 480 pixels max and no thumbnails please. - I won't be resizing any, so make sure you do it yourself else your entry will be removed. (There's a 'sticky' thread >> HERE (https://www.thctalk.com/cannabis-forum/showthread.php?88783-Resizing-Photo-s-For-Competitions) with links to programs that will allow you to resize photos, so there's no excuse!)

4, All members must have a minimum of 100 forum posts before they can enter.

5, Most important rule.... All pictures entered must have a sign of some sort with THCtalk.com wrote on it in the picture (not photoshopped) or your entry will be removed from the comp.

6, No messing about with pictures... if they have been messed with in any way using any paint programs or similar they're gone.

7, Last but not least, things like masking tape wrapped around a stem must be removed for the photos so that we can see the plant in it's entire, painful glory. :p

Here is my tiny monster....an auto flower that got stuck in seedling stage, not sure if it was some overwatering or the soil I used at the time or the heat but right when I was ready to kill it it started flowering and I have a separate floro so I thought Id leave it to see if I could grow the smallest nug ever.
and here it is about 2 weeks in...still not sure if it will make it but it isn't costing me anything.

Mornin folks,
after a bit of a sabbatical from here I'm back with a wpotm entry - always a good start :laugh:
Now this has managed to progress a bit more than those above, but is truly atrocious. And the pic doesn't even do it justice.
It's now at 9 weeks of flower and is looking a little patchy lol
Unfortunately I timed my return a little late, I had a Blue Og which was just horrendous, but chopped it the other day to put it out of it's misery. So didn't get a chance to get a pic with a sign.
I have faith in this Critical Jack though, it truly is a contender for WPOTM

Ok here is my updated entry...resized for comp first then almost full size for detail....that is my little finger next to it and I have small hands =) plus this thing is ~2-2.5 months old now. it gets about 1-2 new pistols per week lol. As soon as the photo strains Im doing go to 12/12 in 3 weeks this little guy gets cut and I harvest my .000001 grams.

Id say the little girl is 80-90% brown....4 or 5 calyxes are still almost green I think....

this was the grow I did when I didn't know my tap water I was feeding them with was between 8.5 and 9 PH, subsequently they were stunted and blocked of most if not all nutes.

By the time I started feeding nutes in week three it was too late....I actually started to have the same issue in week one of my current run but after extensive research realized it was deficiencies, tested the water and corrected right away with citric acid, now they look better after a week and a half of good water and feed....

Plant was alive at the time of the pic lol leaves were still soft and no where near crispy... A few were but all the black leaf was still alive :bong:

The droopy leaves was because of the freezer treatment :( and I would guess black because of how toxic the soil proberly is :laugh:...

Either that or the ph severly fucked her up :bong:

Mr pot head, she would come round if you watered her then took off all the dead leaves, i often come in and my are drooped but they pick u in an hour or so

I did mate, I ran the late feed through her, within a few hours she was showing signs of recovery, but only the very tops, nothing below, in my head she was past it, more chance of herming on me than growing lol
