Run to waste?

OK, after many months of looking into starting my 1st NFT scrog, it has come to pass that I can't afford all the kit.

I've been well advised that Coco is the way to go.
Now I have to start from scratch on the learning front. I haven't even looked at Coco before so don't even know what "run to waSTE" is.
Can I get an explanation please?

Also, can anyone point me in the right direction of any step by step guides to setting up a Coco setup?

run to waste means exactly what it says,you do not reuse the nutes but throw them away after water/feeding non recirculating hydro is another description that makes more sense,basicaly it means fresh nutes are always going through the coco daily and this means no res to maintain,which can be a battle in warmer weather.i use the run of around my garden,i got the bestest biggest flowers in our road!
