Right a question for all you slighty more experienced growers out there.

Will a plants still survive if you top it further down the stem? The reason I am asking this is because, as some of you may know, I am going to be jogging my plants. If I am only going to jog a max of 4 and if I get more than 4 females, I don't want to bin them so I was thinking of topping them further down to keep them smaller in the long run.

Thanks for any help :D

I have taken the stem out way down into the thick developed part before, and although it recovered fine and gave a good harvest - it took about 2 weeks to recover.

I'm talking about stems that are a centimeter or more in diameter though, anything else should be fine.
