Competition Rules:



1, 1 picture of 1 plant per member.

2, The entry deadline is: Midnight (GMT) on 31/10/15.

3, All plants MUST be alive during this month.

4, No thumbnails please.

5, All members must have a minimum of 10 forum posts before they can enter or vote.

6, All pictures must have a sign of some sort with THCtalk.com wrote on it in the picture AND the date.
It would also be very helpful to include your plant strain.

7, No photoshopping or messing about with you photo... We aint daft!

8, If there is ever a tie for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place there will be a 7 day vote off.

9, Once a plant has won the plant of the month comp, that plant then becomes ineligible for future competitions.

10, Members may use their one vote to vote for themselves if they wish.

11, To make it fair for all, photo's showing a SCROG/SOG will not be accepted. We need to see a photo of ONE single plant.

12, Last but by no means least, no messing about or being unsporting... This is meant to be fun and fair.

Already know that mate :), ive grown her a few times before now, im sure this lot wont be nowhere near as strong than normal (down too early).

I just open the jar it's in for 10-20 mins then seal back up, I do that every day until the buds feel dry enough to keep the jar sealed, that's the start of the cure, the longer you cure the better the smoke. So don't get greedy come chop time, besides it tastes like crap lol.
There's people out there that have no doubt got stuff that's over a couple of yrs old.. crazy that coz there ent no way I could have any that long lol.

With autos I fucked up in veg and run out of veg time. I think its that with first frows. Every mistake and recovery eats away at veg time and those first 3 weeks are vitally important to yield and overall size of the plant.

@ countryside strain hunter, a thumbnail is a smaller sized picture that you click to see the bigger picture.

The reason for the rule is that, at the end of the comp I need to put all the pics in a voting thread & it's a royal pain dealing with thumbnails... especially if there are a few of them :(

It was probably the first decent skunk I smoked many years ago and the first garden I ever seen was full of it the chops had come from kc brains and been smuggled back from the dam . It was the very first plant I grew well ten of them . They were my training plant but I loved the smoke . I've tried other breeder's mango's and imho kc brains is the one :) this particular plant got slightly upset by a bucket of nutes that she didn't like :) unstable ph

My blue dream weighs in at 3.9oz but is still dropping slowly as I vent jars. I know that's not great for the size shrub, but I'm thrilled with it. It's my first successful grow as well as access to this level of quality. Woohoo!

Thad what I'm hoping. I have another one that's about the same size and also a hydro that's a little smaller. I have 3 other ones that should be ready in another 3 to 4 weeks. All nirvana's bubblelicious. I have a bunch of auto fems I'm gonna do next. Will be my first time experimenting with autos. I wanna do a side by side with two auto early miss plants. Both in the same happy frog soil with added perlite. But I'm gonna do one with the technaflora recipe for success nutes and the other one I'm gonna use the fox farm dirty dozen nute kit and see if there is a big difference in quality and yield. I will definitely make a diary from seed to finish for he whole process so everyone can see how it goes. My guess is the fox farm nutes will do better, but this whole grow was down with the technaflora nutes and they came out phanominal. Hope you guys will sub in on that diary when I do it. Will be a nice little experiment and real fun to see the differences between the two. I'm also going to use my Mars 2 900watt that I just bought.

Itl be an interesting one this month, as usually most month we have a few diddy ones in veg few mid flower, the odd small auto in full flower then boom someone comes in at last second with a clear winner who then wins it, all plants this month entered so are are all around the same size, theres no massive tent filling single plants, so everyones kind of got a fair chance this month at winning id say :)

Plant of the month I believe is only Cannabis related. Plants at any age can be entered into the competition. It's all fun and games but there are some killer prizes for the best plant. Don't quote me on that there will be a mod around soon to let you know.

If your new to growing get a diary up and running and growers will come by learn from you and teach you along the way. It's a win win for everyone.

Thebudda: its a totally different thing. In fact, this lil guy is a prehistoric plant. Very ancient genus, from auyan tepuy(sky island). That place is also called the lost world and was the inspiration for the movie jurassic park. Of course no dino up there, but very ancient plants and lil animals.

So its a isolated micro climate. I grow them in terrariums at 100% RH%, with cool/cold temps. Day/night 22C/10C. And massive lighting. (T5 tubes, 6400k). I water them with demineralized water and the soil mix is 33/33/33 peat moss, perlite and oak chips.

Introducing Little J.

The girl has been growing for about 4 months and just creeps slowly slowly basking in the autumnal sunshine of my bedroom window. She had a horrendous start to life, left to die in an unused prop, I freed her bringing her to a loving home. Or so I thought! My Mrs wanted me to bin her, my cats seem to have it in for her, chewing on her tiny delicate leaves, abusing her in what is supposed to be a protective environment. I haven't put her with my others under a light, she's under my wing now. Take a moment to give this girl a wish she's had from being a bean, to be recognised as the beautiful young lady she is.
