Carbon filter Issues. Please help ASAP!!!

My carbon filter is not working very well atm. It was a cheap one and I am hoping to GOD it wasn't a disposable one. It is this (http://www.progrow.co.uk/acatalog/info_1114.html) one.
Can any one tell me if it is disposable by just looking at it?

Also, how do I go about changing the activated carbon? I have heard you can buy it in a pet/aquatic shop which is what i'll do. How do you insert it?

All filters can be reused if you've the time & inclination. You need to look at both ends and see if it is screwed or riveted together. Obviously if you have screws it's so it can be refilled. Rivets can be drilled out, but you'll need a riveting tool to reseal, unless of course you're really clever and work out how to use screws/nuts/bolts.
