Anyone out there a freerunner? or parkourist? if thats even a word. maybe a tricker or an extreme martial artist?

I would consider myself a freerunner. With a little bit of parkour in me, and a light medley of tricking, xma and maybe even breakdancing... I like to move, anyone else?

Sometimes I walk to the fridge to get something to eat. Normally that doesn't happen though, the pizza delivery guy will come straight up to my room...

When I run it's usually very restricted.. Generally to one certain path. Wouldn't call it freerunning.. Though I do have spiderman powers :bong:

I fucking love parkour/free running, its the ultimate sense of freedom once mastered. I have trained with a few pretty impressive cats....mainly basic movements and strength training. Im a complete novice but im looking to start committing properly with the big boys soon! Parkour generations ftw...

Has any one actually tried running at all lately? Man i ran fucking 50 meters to get to the shop before it closed a couple of days ago, and stopped half way due to a stitch and a quick sprain of the ankle...

I'm under the impression humans only run while being chased or chasing something, I have neither atm :(

Started training with my little brother this weekend and it nearly killed me. I couldn't climb up a wall I swear I'd have flown up a few years ago! I ached for two days after.

I plan to stick at it (Parkour or Freerunning - undecided as yet). It's really liberating. Plus would be good if you need to flee the po po for whatever reason.

Saw district 13. Not a great film but the Freerunning is amazing. It's always good to watch a foreign language film too.

I saw quite a lit of people doing it where I lived In France. I can do quite a few of th things but don't really go ou my way to do it. I was in a gym club when I was a kid and one of the guys in my club was Damien Walters who is now a really famous free runner. He dis the stunts for the prince guy in Hellboy II. He's even got signed by Jackie chans stunt team. I have him on facebook and he uploads some crazy vids of him self, there's loads on YouTube if you search "Damien Walters'
