Over the last week or so my air pump has started to get quite loud.
Can any body reccomend a quite 1?
Should I just turn mine off for a few hours to let em cool down?

Hi mate, get a tetra tec. air pump they are one of the best and most reliant, also airvolution by interpet are good uns! with air pumps you get what you pay for . tetra are dear in shops but they are on ebay for very cheap. what do you need to run? how many air stones ??

Cheers yoko.
At the mo I got 2 airstones and two air pumps.
I will probabley get another two airpumps with just 1 airstone on each 1.
It depends on price. But I want loads of bubbles.
I am growing 1 plant in a flo grow system.

here we go mate, this is very cheap for an aps 400 or aps 300, they both have 2 outlets and will easily run 2 decent sized stones. with tetra there easy to get the replacement parts and very quite.

Probabley onley need 1 but two won't hurt.

Did these pumps work out for you guys? Has anyone using the tetratec pumps got any bad reports on them? I was gonna pick a Tetratec 400 up from Greens but everywhere I look online I hear terrible one star reviews...
