THE DUDE ABIDES

Just a mild recipe for all the family. The Dude Abides Spag Bol.
Ingredients:
500g Minced beef steak (if vegetarian you can use cabbage but it doesn't taste so good)
2 large onions
8 or so cloves of garlic
1 can of tomatoes
1 can tom puree
third of a bottle of red wine
1/8 oz of good quality bud
Method:
Fry the onions in olive oil until softish, add the garlic (chopped) then the meat/cabbage.
Lower the heat and add the bud once the meat/cabbage has browned.
Stir to mix the bud in well.
Add the rest of the stuff.
Bring to boil and simmer for 40 mins. Let it simmer with the lid off to reduce the liquid.
By this time I've usually finished the bottle of wine, so open another for the table/family.
Cook some spaghetti and eat, enjoy.
After desert the conversation between grandparents etc , gets a bit surreal.
"That was good, how did you get that taste?" . "Just put some wine in it" says I.
All good things
