Well for the last few weeks I have been ordering individual autos from a pick and mix site and will continue to order every week up until feb so i have a large selection feminized auto seeds for next year.

I've never grown an auto before but fascinated by the way they flower by age. I know they can go under most light cycles but I'm wonderig when it would be safe to plant outdoors for the risk of frost. I was thinking sometime in march but would you say that's too early? The days would gradually be gettin longer and the weather getting warmer.

I have all the gear to grow indoors but I have just moved in wih my missus and son and as we are renting the place I don't feel too happy about having a tent in any ofthe rooms here. Although I may use one of my cfl or hps lights in the loft to start them off to gain a few weeks headstart.

I hope someone can give me some idea as I hope to have a steady flow of bud to tie me over till my October harvest from my indica/sativa strains.

Interesting Question ..
They'd be under 12/12 if you put them out in march . There or the ruderails are from the northern hemisphere , where they'd get a long hour's of daylight in summer .
And i'm thinking they'd be frost resistant .
I'm on this wagon also , wanting to grow autos out next year. I've only ever grown them indoor before now .
Starting them indoor is a good idea .

Might be a case of suck it and see mick , i'd imagine the ones grown under more hours of daylight in mid summer would give the best return .

Yea summer would be beat no doubt!! I threw a plant out of my grow room in march last year and it continued to grow after about a 3 week standstill due to shock but it was male anyway. I might build a mini greenhouse for them to go in when they are around 2 weeks old, and mayb just start them off on the window sill once the seed is planted, then harden off a bit, then into mini greenhouse til the weather gets warmer.

I think autos are a great thing for any outdoor uk grower.

Mini greenhouse sound's like a plan , heated would be even better .http://www.lenehans.ie/lenehans/Main/Product2.asp?ProdID=344 or similar
I agree autos are the way to grow UK side , or an auto cross . After trying several veriety's outdoor here at 53 Nth and none want to finish before the wet/cloudy season .
My outdoor male died at the start of this month . Best of luck on this venture next year .

Las lot i grew indoor without a filter so i'd say the opposite but some could reek tho with that said . Mine were from advanced seeds and i grew the original lowrider a few year's back before i had the filter .
Get one of them game stalking cameras our american cousins use on there GG .
