canna pk 13/14

Wow I get to be the first to post a thread in this section!

Question is, I just got some canna pk 13/14 and I'm wondering how often do I use it? I'm in week 7 of flowering under a 250w red cfl. Im not sure what plant it is but I reckon I got another 4-6 Weeks left of flowering. There Are some pics of it in my profile if anyones intresred

good question,i give mine pk during the 5th week of flower but i only flower for 8-9 weeks
so somet that has 13-15 weeks (or more)..........err,im not sure!!

normally you would use pk13/14 for a whole week, it tightens the buds up, use a bloom i,e bud xl after using the pk13/14.

pk 13 14 can be used as a pk spike in the 3rd week of flowering aswell as how canna says to use it 3 weeks before harvest.

if you are growing in soil then do not feed it anything ''everyday''.

in soil the plants should be fed every 2-3 days(let the soil almost dry out before watering)

i always use to give mine a feed(with nutes) then just P.H'd water then a feed then just water,ect,ect
(i'd rather under-feed then over-feed)

i would suggest every water for 1 week approx 3-4 weeks before harvest is due, i use the autopots so just plop the required amount in the res for 1 week which is usually week 4-5 of flower.

all my nutes are canna and canna recomend the use of PK13/14 in the 2 or 3rd week of your flower stage and use for one week only..............

the 2nd an 3rd week is more of a spike of pk to get them going not when they need it most, the plants needs and wants more p an k 3 -2 weeks before harvest

id say it was best to use it a few times in flower, especially if thats all u have got

Well I only just got the stuff, I'm in wk 7 flower the first time I used it I gave the plant a good drink an now I'm feeding it every other day, one feed with canna the next plain water. Gona carry on for another week or so an see how it does. It seems to be liking it atm. Its the only nutes she's had throughout the grow.

yeh she will love it aha, how much you feeding it? if thats all your using trying maybe puttin 2.5ml per litre or more instead of 1.5

I got a 2ltr spray bottle, which I put 3ml of canna in an give it a ltr a feed.

so your giving them 1.5 ml a litre thats what they say to add to a full nutrient tank, so you could probably double up on it, if your using nothing else. :)

rite ive been using pk 13/14 for 3 wks now n im using it every time i feed n i have varied flower times my 1st down in 3 wks n the last 5 wk...
all i can say is that it makes ure buds absolutely solid n really makes them swell up...... i like it u only need 15ml per 10ltr of water n it aint expensive....
take a noisy in my latest diary the proofs there :)

The first 1-2 weeks of 12/12 is not actual flowering time this is when plants are changing to flower so dont count these 2 weeks and then we start to get somewere 5th week of flower thus actually being the 6-7ths week of flower because these people arnt counting the pre flowering stage and 3 weeks from harvest is also around the 5-6th week of flower when working from a strain that flowers in 8-9 weeks, to give pk at the correct time will be slightly different for all as ive always been led to belive tht pk should be given for a week the week the plant has its 2nd growth spurt.

Just a quick question, see when using pk13/14 do you still use your normal base nutes at the same dosage???? I'm growing in a aqua farm and start my 5th week of flowering my blueberry bush today, I do a complete rez change every week and top up in-between, thanks for any help given, :)

yes you are supposed to, id check with your ec stick if you have one just to be sure, should be ok tho. :)

here's what i do ;
flip into 12/12, wait til pistols show on plants to start my 'flowering period'
week1) a and b
week2) a and b
week3) a and b
week4) pk13/14 and small amount of a and b
week5) quick flush by feeding of ph'd water twice then budxl mix with a and b
week6) budxl a and b
week7) budxl a and b
week8) half week of budxl and a and b then flush
week9) cut down once 7th day has come since flush.

prioritise pk13/14 over a and b.

i.e if you were mixing 10litres of nutes and bottle says add 15ml per 10l you put the 15ml in and check e.c, then you would add canna a and b until you reach the desired e.c level.
