i will be doing 3 autos (dutch passion taiga, barneys farm flower power auto, n grass-o-matic auto ak) in soil with nutes under a 250w red spec bulb, from start then 2 weeks from crop putting under a 400w hps i know i need a blue spec light, but i cant afford atm, will some little aquaruim light i found help at all? i think its around 5000k to 8000k? looks like a cool white tube and there is no wattage on it lmao but think it may be either 18w, but more likely a 40w? the tube was intended for a salt water set up, which plant growth is needed for the fish, thats why i thought it might be good in the first few weeks? any help will be thanked

done a bit of looking into it, its a compact flourescent daylight bulb 10,000K 24w, it comes in a reflector which is a bit long in length but nothing a angle grinder cant sort out because theres alot of wasted space at one end and it doesnt fit inside my grow area.. is 24w 10,000k useless?

I purchased a 24 w flourescent lamp designed for reptiles in tanks url=https://www.thctalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/13526/title/project21/cat/500]https://www.thctalk.com/gallery/data/500/Project21.png[/url] this is its spec, I bought it for the uv light it gives out but its dangerous to look at it when its lit. If yours is 10,000k it sounds like it will be further out of the visible rang and may also be harmful to your eyes .
