How far do i hang a 150 watt light above propergater ??????

Ive just planted seeds in propergator wot do i do next ??? I got a 150 watt bulb ?? How far away do i hang the light from propergator ??? And what temperature as the room got to be ???? Thanx ???

Hi Yam..

The light needs to be reasonably close, i would say you should be safe to hang a 150W about a foot above the little babies depending on how much heat the bulb gives off > you have not mentioned what type of lighting your using!

After reading up on here and becoming more knowledgeable its best to keep baby plants at room temperature - 20 - 25 degrees or so.

The light can be moved closer to the top of the plants as they get bigger and stronger, higher temperatures can also be tolerated.

The best thing to do is keep asking questions on here or even better - spend a few hours reading other threads here to find out a huge amount of priceless information :)
