I can't see how anything is going to be quieter than the S&P Silent range.

Don't the Panasonic's have trouble shifting the required amount of air ?

I need to sort out my extraction and am seriously looking at an S&P, but the 4inch range puzzles me slightly, one model is about 3 times the weight/size of the other!

What size would you be going for ?

They are pretty expensive, around £40-50 more I think, than RVK/Ruck etc, but they (well some models) apparently emit only 19db!

I need a 4inch one, I've only got a small tent, but it's weird the differences in the two models at that size.....have a look and see......be interested to see what you think...

I've now realized why the models are different, the 'silent' versions are massive! They start at around 50+cm in length! I won't be able to fit that in so i may give the td160 a go. That model is tiny, about 20cm long, but should be fine for the number of air exchanges I need to happen.
