I guess the taste would not be as good as a soil grow but I wonder how many grows are done this way now? would the fruit in our little shops come from hydro..we will never know

actually if you ask your grocer he should be able to tell you how and where the fruit was grown, especially tomatoes. as most grown in holland are hydro grown as the yield is larger, hence why we grow canna in hydro, taste wise you wouldnt really be able to tell them apart, just like with weed... unless of course you grow your own organic veg, then you can tell forsure...

The guy at my hydro shop says that he grows veggies in hydro and ended up with a 5 pound tomato but says it depends alot on the variety that is grown, he said you wouldn't know the difference taste wise...

I plan on starting a tomatoes, bell peppers and jalapeños. My local hydro guy suggests using a top feed style hydro system, and strong lights.

a basic wilma or water farm ebb n flow would do cheap to make under £20 quid too chek heaths pics id sa use the sun n seasons but thats cause cost to run hps to fruit doesnt seem too clever
