View Full Version : Please Diagnose- no idea wat this could be
have noticed a fruit fly or two around my plants and will def be buying some pest control product, however i don't think this has anything to do w/ them.
Week 3 veg, still real small, prally from using red CFL's but take a look. Plants have had 2 feeds w/ Bio bizz grow though this started before i was feeding them.
they are on 18/6, regular compost w/ seaweed. and a fan blowing down on them.

How long have they been in that soil before you fed them mate?

3 weeks since they sprouted in that soil and fead them first time last thursday i think....as for the nutes i didn't measure it out, just poured a tiny amount into a 2liter bottle....
I had plants growing in that exact soil previously, they got transplanted and prally spent 2 weeks in that soil b4 i ripped em out cause of a security scare, but kept that soil and just planted new seeds into it...think they just need a feed?
congo- sry dude im not sure what you said though in your defense i am pretty hung over right now so maybe im just not cconcentrating...:stoned-smilie:

temps are range 25-30c
humidity is usually around 65 but pushes 75% when door is closed
and i wish i had hps but they're red spec cfl's right now, will pick up a blue today hopefully if i feel like making a run to the hydro shop...
guess ill just keep feeding em and hope they pick up,
you know why the stem is purple/ red looking? just the light maybe or related to the feeding..

If i was you Opiate i would repot them into some fresh new soil mate and stop feeding them and you watch them take off.
Also it looks like a little wind burn on that curled leaf. Try and have your desk fan blowing gently over the tops but below the light and that will stop.
When it comes to nutes you really should measure them out and start off low and slowly work your way up over a few weeks. It is so easy to over feed them if you are not carefull. It also helps you keep tracks of what they have had just incase you need to lower or highier the amount they are given.
Remember its always best to have the plants hungry rather than over fed because they can come back from hunger alot better than they can over fed. Over feeding can lockout certain nutes to your plants which inturn can look like hunger so then alot of people feed them again only adding to the problem.
Like i say mate give them a repot into fresh new soil and only give them water for two to three weeks and watch them take off. :thcleaf:
