View Full Version : Leaf edges started yellowing
Anyone advise as what this could be?
The edges of the leaves starting from the top up and working down have started to yellow, it's on the very edges and it's quite distinctive, it runs the length of the leaf, and the tips are dried. It doesnt look the same as the nutrient burn I had.
If it isn't possible to diagnose from this I will try and get a picture up.

It is very hard to say without seeing a pic really mate. https://www.thctalk.com/cannabis-forum/images/icons/icon11.gif
I should have put the pictures up sooner I think, it seems I have two different problems, although they could be the same, my knowledge is too weak to tell.
Firstly this is the snow white plant that has the yellowing on the edges of the leaves, the leaves are very crispy now, this started from the top and is working down.
All the plants are currently under 400w hps in day 1 of week 9, I am feeding them 1ml grow, 2ml bloom and 2ml top max one feed and 2ml bloom, 2 ml top max and 1 teaspoon black treacle. All per litre, I water\feed them twice per week

Anyone have any ideas roughly how much longer this snow white will take? Its still producing lots of fresh white hairs, most of the trichomes are cloudy now but no amber. I took the lower branches off to smoke.
Now the Arjans haze, I thought it was the same problem, but this looks different. The big fan leaves are yellow, that yellow that grass goes when some wood or something has been on it for ages. A lot of the leaves will fall off if I touch them. Some of the leaves are crisping (nute burn?).

I think they still have about another 4-5 weeks to finish and I dont think at this rate they will be alive in 2..
Finally if anyone can tell, are these bud heat stressed and likely to stay this skinny and fluffy? If they will fill out thats cool, but they are in week 9 and they are just balls of hair.

Thanks, sorry it's such a long post. I hope the problems arent critical and they can make it to the end of flowering.

They do look alittle over fed (you can tell by the leaf tips going brown), so if i was you mate i would give them a good drink of plain water and then lower your food dose the next time you start to feed again.
Don't forget alot of plants will start to yellow up nearing the end of flowering because the plants are sucking all of the goodies out of the leafs to put in a final push for the final swell. They can put on an extra 25% in the last few weeks of flowering from what they are a few weeks before chop.. :weed:
So it's not major mate, you have nothing to worry about. https://www.thctalk.com/cannabis-forum/images/icons/icon12.gif
They are looking very nice indeed mate. :thcleaf:
Cheers mate, I am worried because although I have the basics covered now after reading I wouldn't be able to tell anything about illnesses and deficiencies.
I am feeding them quite a lot so I will give them just water for the next two feeds and then maybe add some more feed back in if they need it.
Is it still ok to use the top max, and\or treacle for the next 2 feeds?
Thanks
