I have a 5" ruck 125L 355m3/h.
I'm going to upgrade my CF to a Rhino Pro.
I'm thinking that I may only need a 4" filter, and use a ducting reducer.
The Rhino filter is 350m3/h, so it's basically hasthe same airflow as the 5"fan.
Would this be alright, or is it best to have a little extra airflow within the filter and get the 5"?

I'm off the understanding that you rate the CF to the fan. Not enough and smells will leak through and the same if the fan is too powerfull because it doesn't scrub the air, hence there being a flow rate.

So in theory it would be ok and matches your fan.

However depending on the size of your grow room as you need to extract the air 3-5 times in your room a minute.

How bigs your grow space?

my room is 1x1x1.8m, so 1.8m3

Dont do it mate. I did it a few months ago with a 5" filter and 6" fan and it fucked my fan with in a week (ruck 125mm L1), and also restricted the airflow enough that my tent was blowing out like a baloon if i was using an intake fan. I sent the fan back for a replacement and got a bigger CF and been fine since (touch wood)

My bad, I meant 150mm (6") lol.
Its a shame that with it being the kind of community that it is you cant sell/give your old equiptment away as I have a spare 5" rhino thats only had 4 months use out of it and I need it out the way lol
