2.5week veg starting scrog,

hi all i have my first grow in the works and its starting to show its potential now and rapidly growing, their 2.5week in veg and ive just FIM'ed tonight for the first time..

ill explain my setup then start to ask for advice

MY SETUP
autopot - 6 pot easy2grow kit
400w MH / HPS
6" passive intake
6" RVK 150 A1 extraction @420M3/h
6" rhino 150x300 @ 600m3/h
ionic neuts
humidifier
1/2k blow heater
8.5ltr pots "just about to move to 15ltr"
Pots are half clay pebbles and the rest canna pro plus coco

so i have the 15ltr pots and also some 3" mesh coming tomorrow for me to start the scrog setup, i have a few questions though seen is its my first ever grow

1) are my plants ok to start scroging, their approx 14" high and are 2.5weeks into vegging
2) how much higher should i start the scrog above the plants
3) any advice or mentoring is very welcome :)

Whats the EC of the feed your giving them?

They look like there being over fed.

What do you rekon to the autopot system. I was given a 2 pot easy2grow system to try by the people on AutoPot stand @ Spannabis. I just wondered what you thought?

Also why the coco pebble mix?

hi mate im giving them 1.0-1.2EC on the ec meter, this last feed of 1.0-1.2 went well they dint react much at all the the older leaves were damaged from heat,the temps where hitting 32'c at times. the new groth is on with 1.0-1.2ec it seems

these auto pots suck mate, i got them so i dint have to feed them but so far ive been manually feeding them and at the 2week mark the roots popped out bottom of the 8.5lt pots and ill now be changing them to the 15lt pots which then will have to wait once again for the roots to hit bottom before i can use the autosystem, so really the hole of the veg cycle its no good

i use the clag pebble and coco mix as these pots are sat in 20mm of water and feed from bottom so the coco at the bottom would be soggy all the time and have no drainage so i used half pebbles and half coco so their can drain

you just want you clay balls just a fraction above the water level and then use the coco mixed in with clay balls or perlite (to stop the coco holding to much water) 70/30% works well
the balls will wick up the water just right you shouldnt need to top water

for you scrog screen put in high enough to get your hand underneath easily to remove the undergrowth when needed

read some scrog diarys all the info you want is in them

yes mate i made the mistake of half and half cley/coco on first pot, now im aware of it im going to re pot them with 1.5" clay balls and the rest coco, but after ur comment above about mixing it ill do that as that a brill idea,

as for scrog im gona look into these diary's tonight you dont happen to know a detailed one do you as i bet theirs alot out their with only partial info ?
