Using a Wilma 8 pot for the first time and was wondering if you'd need to use oxy plus in the resevior if you were using clay pebble medium?

You don;t HAVE to use anything wetnelly. Oxyplus just increases the amount of oxygen in the resevoir and in the nute solution. A flood and drain will draw air in (obviously with oxygen content in) when it drains out so in answer to your question, no, you don;t need to use oxy plus, it just helps and increases the natural o2 content if everything else is goin well. A bit like adding CO2 or bloom enhancers etc. You should only add more things like this if everything else is stable and you are pushing for max yields etc.

What you do want to make sure you do though is keep your solution agitated/circulating in some way. In my opinion you are better off putting an air pump/air stone in the resevoir.

I,ve succesfully grown without any of the above and got good yields. All just help given the right circumstances.
