Flowering male cut question

Hi all. Just found a couple of males in my groom, and have took a cut before destroying them.

Now here's what it is. Can I continue 12/12 with it,or do I have to revert back to 18/6 to root it? I only want a bit of pollen!

i actually rooted some of my cuts in my flower room under 12/12 lol , purely because i couldn't fit my bubble cloner in my mum cab . so it will work man .peace
