i saw a chart once of the ppm required for each vital nutrient, npk, and sub nutrients. it was done with the stages of growth in a spreadsheet. i think it started at around, a total ppm, of 400 and went as high as 1200-1600 depending on strain.

what i would like to build is a spreadsheet that has the light hours and growth stages, with the water amounts in liters with the nutrients in ppm that gives that optimum growth.

any body here using any canna nutrients?
give this a bash http://www.canna-uk.com/wrapper/1
put in the type of nutrients your using, terra, aqua or cocco and then the amount of water your giving and then the water harness, and it gives you the amount of each nutrient for each week
much easier than trying to work it out from the back of each bottle!

I don't know if this is anygood to anyone using Advanced Nutrients (http://www.advancednutrients.com/nutcalc3public/nutrient_calculator.html) but I have found it to be very useful in feeding.

Let me know if you would or would not consider using this chart/calculator from Advanced Nutrients (http://www.advancednutrients.com/nutcalc3public/nutrient_calculator.html) ;)

If you use this or find it useful then please take the time to say thanks by clicking on the Thank You button at the bottom right of each post.

Hope this helps. I have also followed some of this but not all :D

Advanced Nutrients

This is the latest Advanced Nutrients Calculator (http://www.advancednutrients.com/hydroponics/calc/) which has different levels of grower styles from hobby grower to the grand master grower and allows you to work out exactly what nutrients to use when using Advanced Nutrients.

Are all these nutes based on hydro systems?

What about growing with John Innes and CFL, whats the best english nutes you can get for these conditions?

Wrams

Some are soil and others are hydro and there are also a few coco charts too :)

Advanced Nutrients are soil, hydro, coco so your covered there :p

id just like to ask, how often are u supossed to water and water with tomato feed?

Wrams
22-05-10, 11:56 PM
Mate there are lots of good nutes out there, Advanced Nutrients being #1 then Canna probably #2 and so on. Google Nutrients for growing cannabis and it will list lots. Ionic is another and quite cheap to. You water your plants every 2 to 3 days or when soil is completely dry, you can tell by lifting the tub and seeing how light it has gone. Or use a probe that measures moisture.

I water my plants in this weather (UK) every 3rd day giving them 2ltrs each plant. Hope this helps ;)

Iv decided to go with ionic bloom. Itll probably say what to do on the bottle like.

When u feed during flowering every 2-3 days, do u always add nutes then?

Wrams
23-05-10, 12:41 PM
I always add nutes every 2nd or 3rd watering depending on how much they eat of the nutes, plants don't drink nutes and water together they seperate them and one day will drink only water and the next drink water and nutes. So if you have a res and it has water and nutes mixed the plant can and will just suck up water seperating the nutes itself.

You will also need a booster to go along with your bloom (Bloom Booster). Are you in flowering stage...?

Yer im in the flowering stage now, first week into it. Iv jus got 2ltr of ionic bloom for £11 of a known action site. thats with postage so its not a bad deal.
Im also growing in soil so no i dont have a res, will this effect the way i should feed ionic bloom.

Will i also need bloom booster? is it worth getting? I didnt have any nutes during veg infact i jus left it grow on the window sil before i got all serious and got lights for it so its a little stressed but seems happy and healthy.

Are u supopsed to add bloom booster in with the ionic bloom? also what is a good bloom booster to go with the ionic range?

Sorry for the overloaded reply, i just wanted to add,i bought some meridian black strap molasses which i add a teaspoon of every 3 feeds, is it a good idea to mix this with the nutes?

cheers man,
frost

Nothing wrong with molassis buddy :) I use it myself sometimes ;)

You don't have to have a booster but it can help produce thicker buds :p Bloom boost only gets fed for about 2 to 3 weeks half way through the flowering cycle most of the time so no rush for it. Also nutes are the only food your plants will be getting because soil elements only last for about 4 weeks then theres no nutirtional value left in the soil so thats why alot of growers use it to suplement the plants :)

Ionic products are not to bad but there are better ones for about the same price. Canna is great and Advanced Nutrients are even better but cost more... Ionic do Hydro/Soil/Coco nutrients so depending on your growing style you should always look for the right nutes for your growing medium ok.

Ionic Schedule - Mineral Nutrition, Seedlings and clones, Make up Ionic soil grow and feed to young plant????

It doesnt say how much you are supposed to feed a clone for example, how much of it per litre of water?
It also doesnt say when the plants are at the 'young plants' stage? it doesnt say how much BLOOM to use?
The only one it tells me to use is the boost at 1ml per Ltr twice weekly? Any help here guys?

Also i thought that was it for nutrients. Ionic grow, bloom and boost. Is it also essential to buy greenmyst humic, greenmyst fish agra?

Also how essential are the Greenfuse range, root, grow and bloom?

Im also going to be using molasses once/twice a week throughout the whole stages of my growing, wise??

cheers guys, frost

In flower give them twice weekly, but give them how much? I have mixed the 7ml per litre into the feed bucket, I have added the 1ml per litre of boost to the bucket. How much of this do I give them twice weekly? Please

Hey guys, I'm doing my first autos, fast and fast heavyweight with all mix biobizz, using biobizz nutes. It's been 4 weeks exactly today, so half way through. Can anyone give me advice to make theses babies big n bad. I've supercropped on previous 12 weekers, can I do it with autos? And if so when is best?

The voodoo juice is a bottle of very expensive benifical microbes (6 in total). Take a look at ecothrive bioseys it's a fraction of the price and contains 22. Save yourself abit of money and try not to be lead down the road of buying advanced nutrients full line up as it's ridiculous.

Youll be fine with just the above ralf. Top dress with a small amount of great white mid grow or mix a small amount into you feed water for the odd feed here and there.

The cannazyme isnt really needed tbh.
