View Full Version : Growing in between acer bushes?

As the title says.. Has anyone tried growing some plants in between a group of acer plants as the leaves are quite similar etc? Just a thought as I just got some baby acer plants couple of days ago.

I'm pretty sure that acers like acidic (ericaceous) soil. Cannabis may not like that too much.

Acers are not ericaceous plants but like it slightly acidic, the same as canna. The only issue is that those acers are so slow growing they won't provide much cover. Even relatively old ones aren't that high.

I seem to remember 'The Old Lady' did this (check out old backyard grows), she said it fooled members of her family, not sure if it would fool the old bill tho!

If you keep them to a simillar shape as the bushes id ggive it ago m8 good luck

google "sambucus " they grow quickly , fairly cheap to buy , mabe no good for this season unless you can pick a few bigger plants , but get them this year , they'l be perfect for next ;-)
