scrog or LST or both?
opinions, i have 1.2meter head room but only a 70w MH/HPS so getting close to canopy is going to be ideal?

only 40cm? you will be lucky to even fit a pot in there ;) that's around 15 inches..
height is not bad..you could do a scrog though for sure but i thin k LST'ing would be better..you have to add the size of the pot in height..12 inches or so then the plant will be another foot/foot and a half then the light/reflector..You would need some space between light and plant for airflow..

Ive been using a 40x 40 x 120cm for about 4 years, I grew 9 in that tent, and out of the 9 came 5 purple delights, with a harvest of 3 oz, under a 100w HPS, Don't listen, he's being mean :laugh: Just kidding, Mate your be suprised with what you can achieve in that tent, I got a 30 x 30 x 60cm tent too, Got 1 & 1/2 oz out of that, and in it I done a scrog with a bubblegum.When your limited to space, I find my best ideas are born, Enjoy mate, Use your imagination.;)

I have a 40x40x120 and have never had a problem i got 71g off my last plant :D Its perfect for a percy grower.

I topped & lst'd in a space 50 x 50 x 110 & it was neat.. I didn't realise the plant had grown to the cabinet size til i bought a tent & it looked happier! A small plant like an auto would be good for that. I got a 16l pot in my 50 x 50 space.

No dont be silly, I used egg cups :p I had 9 x 2ltr square pots, Each 13cm square, left me with 1 cm spare, I grew another plant in that space. Seriously, space shouldn't determine how many plants you can grow, I suppose if you take it seriously it does, But Im just pissing around and having fun doing so, and getting way more than i barging for when it come to harvest.:harvest:

thanks 4 all replies, ive got 2 strains vegging 18/6 under a 70MH temps around 21 lights off 27/28 lights on.
got 4" clip on fan pointed at bulb and TD 250 S sucking out blowing into filter,
everything is on 18/6 at moment to save electricity.

Ive grew before in a DS60 and got decent results from autos, just wanted a little tent to fit inside a wardrobe and kinda got it stealthy but as always some noises you cant hide :) lol

Got a Bag seed thats flying ahead of a barneys farm violater kush,
gonna put bag seed on window and plan on 12/12 the VK in a 11litre pot let it get a little bigger first. anyone with experience with this kinda setup like to comment on how its setup or any tips,
will be installing the 70w HPS and maybe a 125CFL as side lighting when moving onto 12/12
ps. what sort of netting and where to buy it to make a scrog screen, cheers =)

I used the normal fence netting..It's firm and has 2 inch holes..You don't want it bigger then 2 inches really..One inch netting is too small if you ask me..
Get it from most DIY stores..Whickes or B and Q

This maybe off topic but ive read somewhere that keeping your MH in for the first / last 2 weeks of bloom 12/12 can help stop stetch and increase thc production? a myth or ..? anyone any thoughts., cheers

yeah I always do this to minimize stretching but stretching will occur anyway for 10 to 14 days generally and I generally have the blue back last 10 days or so too..
