Right folk.. First time coco grower after switching from F&D. I have a slight problem with my 3 week old WR plants from seed.. My background EC is .3 so up until I potted up on fri I was feeding vitalink ps and pm root stim for a week at an EC of .6 building up to .7.. Since they have been in 6L pots over the weekend I've give them 2 feeds of plant magic a+b, root stim and a touch of super thrive to help with the transplant shock at an EC of .8 and ph bang on 5.8.. They 2" under my 4 foot T5 at the min, I've had some temp swings as I've been trying to dial in my environment with an oil rad since moving to my bigger tent.. but min max 17-28

I noticed lastnight that the tips on young leaves are slightly burnt, the very new growth is trying to come through but has halted somewhat. Quite hard to see on pics the very new growth as my phone cam is shite but here they are...

Thanks for the replies lads... There is a bit of burn on the tips of the last fully formed leaves, you can just about make it out on the first pic. My fault, shit camera.

When lights came on tonight they looked a bit worse so I flushed through each air pot with plain ph'ed water until the run off was the same as my background EC of .3! It was coming out at .8 and took about 10-12L each to flush to the background EC. I have now made up a quarter strength solution of just A+B with a touch of superthrive to condition the roots, EC of .5. I'll ph it and give them a light feed later when I can be arsed..

It doesn't help as they are defo suffering a bit from the transplant the other day.

The thing is my Royal Queen Critical plant of same age is loving the same strength nutes, in fact she looks slightly underfed so I'll keep her on the same EC for a couple days and then up her dose.

Peace

im no pro but even i see NOTHING wrong in them pics. i kept my plants 3-4 inches from the plant tops to be sure they wernt getting burned.

useful rule of thumb to prevent close heat burning is place ur hand over the plant tops an if it burns your hands then the lights to close. but again them pics dont show nothing you really should be manic panicing about so be cool
