After mucho delayo :smokie: here, at last, is the entry thread for the Tree of the Year Comp :)

There will be a mixed goody bag of pressies/kit this time round, but, its really more about the Kudos of growing big! So get the entry pics up and show the world how to do it big stylee :)

Ah here it is...

Yield was around 28oz (roughly) with total diary grow at just over 40oz
For sizing this monster the bins to left and right are 35L and the plants pot has been over grown. Where the light is you can see how thick with bud the colas were! not the best pic mind as it was dark :(

Well done Bio cracking result in the end mate.

Here's my entry. Trifle MMG x Black Rose.

She was part of a four plant grow and was the biggest by far at 26.5oz.

The RULES

No Light Restrictions
No Grow Method Restrictions
No Location Restrictions
Prizes will be awarded for Indoor and Outdoor Grown Trees.
All Entrants must have a minimum of 50 forum post before they can enter/vote in this comp or your entry/vote will be removed from the comp..
1 picture of 1 plant is allowed to be entered from a 2012 grow by any 1 single forum member.
All plants in any pictures entered in this comp has to be or have been alive in the year of the competition.
Please keep all pictures to 600 x 450 pixels max and no thumbnails please. (failing this your entry will be removed from the comp).
All pictures entered must have a sign of some sort with THCtalk.com written on it in the picture (not photoshopped) or your entry will be removed from the comp.
All Entrants must include a diary link to showcase their handywork, and a run down with the post picture of how they got grew it out.
No picture's are to be entered in this comp if they have been messed with in anyway using any paint programes or alike. If any picture is to be found of having any effects added or the picture messed with in anyway, then that picture will be removed from the comp.
All pics must be entered by midnight on the 25/12/12 (UK) and a new thread will be started with all the entry pic's added.
A poll will then be added to the new thread so forum members can cast their vote.
The poll will be closed at midnight on the 31/12/12 (UK)

Here's where I saw it in the POTM rules.Comp Rules: rule 12 I have been saying this for weeks in the other thread but never got an answer. Is it correct or isnt it.

1, 1 picture of 1 plant is allowed to be entered from a current grow by any 1 single forum member.

2, All pics must be entered by midnight on the 15/01/01 and a new thread will be started with all the pic's added.

3, A poll will then be added to the new thread so forum members can cast their vote.

4, The poll will be closed at midnight on the 31/01/01 (UK)

5, Winner will be announced and Prize's will be sent out asap.

6, All plants in any pictures entered in this comp has to be or have been alive in the month of the comp.

I think, if I remember rightly, I kept that in to stop a single member blitzing POTM, POTY, TOTY in one fell swoop.

I'm happy to let it ride with this being the first time Tree of the Year and being more for the prestige than anything else. :confused:

Next year we can get the rules locked down a bit, no exceptions, no prisoners.....

PMSL there GB yes I am guilty of line two in your post. Mad thing is I grew my plants in the first place with this thread in mind as you know,we instigated it some time ago with other memebers. I am not greedy I am happy with what I have won with my girls already. I haven't entered my POTM in an effort to be fare, but my entry does have a chance of winning so, please feel free to remove my entry from the comp, just feels funny not entering a comp I help to setup. LOL

Sqydro's has lots of old/non-entry/badly-sized pics and I am not going to spend time working out which is which, only to get it wrong :smokie:

So simpler all round to have this pic thread, a-la POTM Entry thread and then a Poll thread to vote on :joint: POTM Winners CAN be entered :)
