Tasty Trichomes

Im'e almost at 60 days from seed with my NFT / Lowryder#2 Automatics, and with technically only 5 days to go, i was studying my plants today and was thinking that maybe they should be pulled early as they look like their just about done.
This is my first hydro grow and actually my first grow for quite a number of years, and all that time ago nobody even new what a trichome was...lol.
So... Can anyone out there advise me (by checking out the pics of my trichomes) whether i should keep growing for a little longer... Or get these beauty's out of the tub like yesterday!! (started flushing 5 days ago)
Like a good few growers on here, im'e trying to grow on a budget, so i didn't have a jewellers loupe in my possession yet, so i used a 35mm camera lens rated at 35/75x magnification and held it in front of the lens on my modern digital camera set to macro, and here are the results:

Personally, id crop now, longer you leave it less thc and more cbd

i like mine inbetween clear and cloudy others prefer cloudy,amber,

Well it's now day 56 and still no sign of any amber trichomes yet.
Im'e not even sure that i can see any milky trichomes either, so i'll keep going on a day-by-day basis until day 60 when i will definately chop no matter what!!
I have smoked weed consistently for the last 30 years... even in the old days during the 70s and 80s when weed was scarce and the market was flooded with imported cannabis resin, with exotic brand names such as Nepalese, Afghan, Lebanese or better known as slate ( red / gold-pressed pollen... my favourite) and of course the common and always dependable Morroccan Black.
It was during this time that i gave up smoking tobacco completely, and only choosing to smoke the Lebanese slate until by around the end of the 80s, this brand was the first to disappear from the street. It was around this time that i managed to retrieve some seeds that i found in the bottom of my bag of imported Durban Poison weed that i had acquired, germinated and successfully grew my own stash... The rest is history as they say, and i have been a fan of homegrown weed ever since!!
Over the years i have become a bit of a connoisseur, and i can safely say that i much prefer an uplifting psychedelic trippy high to a couchlock kinda stone, so it is for that reason alone that i will be pulling my plants before the onset of amber trichomes in the hope that i can reproduce that heady, racy extra-sensory high that iv'e come to love and respect over the years!!
Im'e now off up to the attic to remove the rest of the shade leaves and so aid extra light to the lower regions of my plants and see if i can bring on those smaller buds a little more before harvest.

you wont be able to tell if youre plants are ready unless you buy a microscope, you can get them for less than a tenner. they are an essential piece of kit if you want to cut at the right time.
