What are you looking to alter to? I had went from 12/12 to 13/11 during my 4th week and seems to be no problems yet(2 days till week 6 of flower)

Giving less light will mean less yeild , but will mature the plants quicker IMHO .

Don't worry, we are all confused around here!!!

I can't tell you for definite if you should switch the hours as I'm not a pro. But from what I've read around here, some growers tend to use the 13/11 during flower to increase the yield a bit. The reason I switch tho, is because the historical data for my area during the fall months shows that we(in my area at least) gets an average of 13 hours of light. I figured I'd try mimicking natural conditions outside in my tent. Since its my first grow using the 13/11 schedule, I can't say what the benefits would be. Hopefully someone with more experience can help answer your questions on the matter!
