From hereonin... I would...

Keep your gob shut and ask for lawyers. Always be polite and over co operative and available. But do everything through the lawyer.
Play the reformed card. Offer community service, tagging, work for charities for free via the lawyer so it doesn't have to go to court or jail. Try and get a job before the trial date if you don't have one currently. If you have no previous, this is certainly a very recoverable situation with some hard work and calm approach.

I would also acknowledge you will be seen as either a heavy drug taker or dealer in a court of law. Work with that assumption and try to convince them you are better outside than inside.

If you go along the hero route, you would do some time for that mefinks.

But that's some bad bad luck with the light.

Yer im normally polite and all that as they are only doing their job at the end of the day.
I currently have no jib but im a qualified accountant, i was taking the summer off due to savings but the police have put a stop to that as they didnt belive me when i said i take my wages from my account and put them in a safe place like my drae as i dont trust banks.
Im going to see a few solicitors and lawyers today to see what they think but im hoping on just poses ion as it was all for me at the nd of the day and they wont be able to prove otherwise other than i own some scales and a few loose bags in the house, they even took my volcano.

Get your self a decent brief first and formost
I had a mate who was renting a house and traveling to it each day to sort it.
When he got lifted he had something like 8-12 lamps and 100 plants and I promise he did not do time he got the full works with CS etc but didnt do time.

He explained it all very well under interview and they swallowed it or at least the judge did.

So dont give up hope get on the net and get a decent guy who knows his shit.

Also play on the fact your an accountant as they dont like to see the Posh folk being caught to a degree.

Before you speak to solicitors you need to know they are in your corner. They will not very likely help you to lie or anything like that because its against the law for them to do so.

Most solicitors will listen to a "story" and may be prepared to believe it and occasionally tell you to perhaps leave that bit out but they will not concoct situations out of thin air for you.
So what I am saying is get your story straight first then speak to them

And finally I wish you every bit of luck but keep your chin up its not the end of the World even though it may seem like it right now it is not. You need to get your head straight and be proactive in getting off with it as best you can.

Similar thing happened to one of my dads mate a year or so back.

He had 30-40 plants, all small and one mother plant, and also had a small amount of sniff and scales and pills, truth is it was all his as he wasn't a dealer! but he said he grew for his dad who had artheritis and his wife who had chronic back issues and they tried to do him for supply!

He was a clean and sober alcoholic for past 6-7 years and used that to his advantage and got a sick note from his doctor saying that he had always spoken honestly about his weed use as it was the only thing that kept him from relapse on the drink and doing stupid shit that used to get him arrested time and time again, that was the main factor in him getting away with a caution and 50 hours CS.

I would play the ex alcoholic or maybe even junkie card, been clean for ex amount of time and got qualified in accountancy and have been working until recently, and now your mrs has just left you and you've been depressed for the past few weeks which led to this situation. make it sound like its a low point in your life and your so ashamed and embarrassed of yourself and you should be ok mate
