Top job mate! Not too sure about the 'stabbing it with a knife' part though! Pound land sell center punches, they are much safer lol! I may have to have a go my self, I can probably scrounge everything but the leds and power packs.

True. Also heat sinks are probably better then aluminium plate and price on ebay is similar. Overall there is quite a few improvements to be made:
    1. Better components imported from Germany - slightly more expensive then China but quality difference is massive.
    2. Heat sinks
    3. Centre punches
    4. I could also use my jigsaw to cut out a hole for fan and there will be less sharp edges this way.
    5. Waterproof choc box
    6. Some kind of protector stopping anything/anyone from touching leds.

So depending from your toolbox, skills, budget, time etc. you can make tons of improvements. I kept it cheap and simple with limited DIY that happen in the kitchen but if I had to do it again, better components, heat sinks and center punches are high on the list

What we need is an electronics engineer who can produce MCPCB's for us! My led project is finally underway... I have my power sorted out and now I just need to spent 6-700 in LED's... lol. Could be a huge waste of cash or a brilliant execution and beautiful .

    Nice job leyus
Do the LEDs have lenses on them, and if so what angles are they?

    They have. 140.

But again I would order from germany this time not from china.

Never ordered there but it is recommended:

I certainly don't recommend China stuff. 1 LED was dead from start and 1 driver died within a week. Get stuff from Europe, build works fine but cheap rubbish will not work long or will be faulty from start.
