Default Help with my Growdrobe please.

Hi, I'm finally building my 250w Growdrobe which I've been planning for yonks.

I've bought all the bits (I hope), but I'm finding it a little hard to fit them in.

This is how far I've got so far...

    Now then...
I want to work out where the filter/fan is going to go. It looks like it will be best at the back out of the way.
The bar going across isn't suitable for the filter/fan AND the light, as they get in eachother's way.

I also need somewhere to attach the clip on fan.

Here is a look at the filter/fan attached to the bar.

U could do with putting the fan in the top part . . U might b better off with filter at the side to give u more room for ur light as u need to get ur light in the middle . That's wat I would do . As that will give I better height for wen u move ur light up with the growth of plant . Hope this helps . Or u could put ur filter up right and cut hole in the shelf and pop in like that . So like u have uf fan and filter now but though the shelf .witch would give u a bit more room . Gd look l4 .

So cut a hole in the shelf, have the filter facing down in the groom and the fan actually in the top compartment?

That's heck of an idea, but wouldn't the fan be vibrating on the shelf? And how will I connect the fan to the filter through the hole? Hmmmm.

I've had a look, and there will be less room if the filter is actually facing down, but I could connect it with ducting and have it at the back on its side. Not sure how I'd hang it though?

how tall is the wardrobe ?
how much height have you got up to the shelf in the wardrobe ?

The thing is the wardrobe looks good, you could have cutting/small plants (veg) in the top part of the wardrobe and the plants in flower under in the larger part of the wardrobe

away to hang the filter use 6 hooks, 4 for the filter and 2 for the fan, drill the holes, 3 holes at the front in a line with about 6" gaps and same at the back (on the shelf)

use some cord and pull the filter/fan up to is just off the shelf only need couple mm gap between the shelf and filter

oh yeh forgot, take down the pole as it weak and takes up room
