    Great post dude cheers for this. Tried dabbling in it a few times without very good success maybe this will help mate. One question and sorry if I missed it, is that based on 100% coco or do you mix with perlite or anything?

    Hello mate, thank you for the compliment. To answer your question I have used coco both with and without perlite and in the future I wont be using it any more. I find that the coco keeps its structure better without it to be honest.

    but why buy calmag and not just use crush egg shells?
    dose the egg shells not work as well?
    still learning.

    You can't use the eggshells in coco mate, thats more for soil. Coco nutes are different because of the way the coco holds on to them.
