    Hmmm, producing a noxious by-product to fend of predators, pretty damn clever for a veg!
    Shame carrot, pea, cabbage & cauliflower weren't as smart, however brussel sprout gets my vote as the smartest! tastes shite going in! and pretty unpleasant coming out, that really is a defence mechanism to be in awe of!

    Imagine x-ing weed w/ the big 3 major world food crops - rice, corn & soy beans (ok 4 wheat too)

    Everybody everywhere everyday eats one or more of theses... tee hee

    (Laughed so hard so long I had to check to see what thread I was in...) ...so back on topic...
