Did you up your EC from 0.8? These things are hungry, go at them with 1.4EC. Plants can take full strength feed from weeks 2-3 onwards.

That light green / yellow shade is a lack of nitrogen in the feed, which translates to low a EC (More EC = more nitrogen + everything else).

Assuming you're watering to plenty of run off, checking the run off EC is an indicator of how the plant is feeding. The run off EC should be 0.2EC higher than what you’re feeding. If run off EC is lower than the inflow, up the inflow EC, if the run off EC is higher than 0.2 over the inflow, lower it.

You can go off the shade of green the leaves are, yellow = hungry, rich, lush green = good, dark green / purple & clawing leaves = overfed.

You need to bump the EC up a decent amount as you have to give the plant the feed strength it should have been fed + extra EC to replenish what it’s been lacking.

Well it was actually 0.7 checking my book yesterday. Upped it to 1.0. Just feed plenty run off. Will check the run off later on when I get the chance. But thanks for the great info. I’ll remember all that. So not had a chance to check them today yet. Gave them two feeds at that so will see how they are. Thanks again
