My leaves still have a healthy shade of green, but a crimson color is starting to bleed through. My soil comes from my outdoor garden and was topped off with a healthy topping of homemade compost. She was not fertilized during the veg stage, and since flower has only received a couple 0-1-3 fertilizer w/molasses feedings.

I haven't been able to produce a colorful phenotype yet... and was wondering when such colors such as purple might begin to show when in flower. I don't want to confuse a phenotype development with a deficiency.
Around week 6 or 7 perhaps?

There are so many variables involved and different phenotypes as well as deficiencies can present themselves with very similar appearances. It's really just an educated guess for me based off of a little bit of a education in botany and horticulture (forestry student almost 30 years ago) and experience from past grows.

I don't believe this specific cultivar is supposed to possess colorful genes, though I'm not certain. Thinking back to my past grows in the garden this soil came from, I've always felt there was something missing between mid to late flower. It's hard though as late September and October brings cold nights, another variable. With limited research and a gut feeling I'm leaning towards phosphorus and will end up adding some bone meal to the garden before planting in the spring.

With this specific grow I'm going to add a 2-8-4 fertilizer to the soil a couple times over the next two weeks and then let her go. Other then the crimson color starting to bleed through I would say everything else is going well. It's not the color that bothers me, but I am mildly concerned the flowers will become stunted and not fill out if I don't do anything about it.
