Expensive bit of kit that's for sure....I made my own brain bucket which is exactly like the one you buy for way way less money.

    I’m in Coco not soil.
Yeah I saw you can make your own but I spoke to Joker a long time ago and he assured me it’s easier and better to just buy the brain and I like neat and tidy also nothing bodged lol.

Interesting what you say about the water backing up not had that so far I spoke to Growell who said the way I plumbed it will be fine if it’s a clear run which it is.
Did you have dips in the pipe work or something ?

Can’t see it mate when I water the furthest away plants within seconds the run off is trickling into the brain.

I did check the floor with a spirit level precisely to see if there was any deviation but none so that plays a part of course.

Just got to make sure the brain is totally flat on the floor and not tipping slightly either it says all this in the instructions anyway.

    Gravity mate, basic physics.

True enough, I can't see it either to be honest...as long as the water can flow down without anything blocking it, then it can't backup..and 25mm pipes are bloody massive! (bigger than the 'general' UK hosepipe) lol

Yeah it's easier buying but when I looked into it you only have a float switch wired into a 20 quid pump and does the exact same and doesnt look dodgy lol.

And no pal was as straight as you could get it, changed over to 1 pipe and was just miles better. That was throwing 20litees of feed down ever time

Don’t know why mine is ok then mate but glad it is. Lovely bit of kit.

Saw couple of people who had problems with home made one so decided against it for the sake of £120
