Default Mega still for reclaiming iso and etoh when doing qwiso and qwet.

Any body have any experience with this little still? It's a modified water distiller so buying should be legal for most.

I've heard people reclaim about 70% of their etoh and if you're using grain etoh that adds up fast.

On yours you could simply connect a reinstat like a dimmer switch in between your base unit and your your outlet on the wall, then the top part just plugs into the wall separately. You of course have to do some plug modifications on your unit. I've seen somebody here on the talk that has done that. That way you can select whatever temperature you want the still to operate at. I always figured mine was modified with the resistor somewhere.

I've really thought about buying one of the new ones anyway they're cheaper than when I originally bought mine. And they are selectable with digital readouts and everything else.
