Yeah my ph out the tap is very similar. Just struggling to get my ppm up with nutes. It's always on the bottom reading or non at a all, running at half strength nutes which according to the bottle should give me 400ppm easy. My plants just eating it real quick or what?

    Default CF ECOstick

Dumbest question ever im sure, but I bought this, and cant for the life of me find where I put the batteries in. Ive unscrewed everything, but each end has things that dont look like they get ripped out to put batteries in.

"The reading will eventually lock at "1.4EC" Battery Replacement Push down and twist the top cap anticlockwise Check the battery contacts and the batteries for any sign of corrosion. Contacts should be cleaned first if corrosion is found Replace with new batteries making sure they are inserted positive down into the body. Ensure the O-ring seal is correctly located and lubricated with petroleum jelly. Note: It is essential that the O-ring seal is correctly positioned and lubricated to ensure a 100% waterproof seal Replace the cap by inserting and twisting clockwise" - from the product page on Amazon.

    <snigger> Lubricated.
