i am due to start my first ever grow and am thinking of doing 2 plants SCROG in aquafarm 45l pots under a 600w hps but not sure if i have enough space,,,,,, growroom= 105 x 125 x 220 ?????? will that be enough space and light, thanks.

I try to keep my lights about 12 inch away from the HPS. I grow 3 plants at a time in a 80x80x120 so you have loads of room. 600w hps might be too hot though depending on your extraction fan. I cant use over 300w in mine or temps hit mid 30s Celsius.

you will have plenty of room, but will want your 600 w lite further away then a 400 mentioned above.
Keep it a metre away when the plant is potted, or breaks cover, when first leaves first appear, then slowly lower it down on to your plant over , say a week,. till it is more like 18 inches, or the plants will fry.

A question along the same line as I have a similar space also using a 600w hps,I can manage temps and get really good results,however if I used a 400 instead will I still get similar results as the 600 ,what I'm getting at is a 600 overkill and a waste of light or can you not have enough so long as you can manage heat ect

Sometimes 12" is a little close depending on temps ect, so stick to 18" if you can. You can also try putting your hand ontop of the canopy (Tops of the plants) and if your hand burns then you'll know it's too hot for the plants, so just highten it until it feels comfortable for you.
