Seems I read that defolition makes the plant produce a hormone that makes buds denser and bigger with no change in potentcy. Can't remember the name of the hormone, but you can actually buy it and spray it on the plants for the same results.

I do recall I didn't like the looks of the spray and couldn't find a tutorial on defoliation. Think I'll try this with a long flowering haze.

I come down on the side that says the ladies keep their skirts on

There are many ways to force growth in both the plant & animal kingdoms... but if we talk about forced growth in the animal kingdom we usually also mention cruelty in the same paragraph

In some respects I agree... but not when cruelty is unkind...

i have done this now a few times (leaf removle) i aint gone to mental thou as i only have one plant and am banking on this to get my stash back on track! but things are looking quite good, the new lower growth witch was yellowing and small has now greened and and shot up,nearly up 2 height as main colas. (had been topped and supper cropped b4 this at 3 weeks from seed) i vegged for 4 n half weeks and am now 11 days into 12/12. to anyone else thinking of giving it a go,just try lightly 1st then see what happens.

    thanks!
