    I gotta get my head around replacing the 440 diodes may as well get some bugger to do the fans while their in there. Bastard Mars.

    Thanks for this Sam. I've just got a II 700w (2 fans)

    Overall, I think MARS may have got this wrong in the first place. Surely it would be better having the fans pull cooler air in from the perimeter and vent out of the top?
    Otherwise, you expel hot air from the sides, which in turn rises, and no doubt gets pulled back into the unit again by the fans!

    My only guess is that the air might not get into the heatsink so well in reverse. I think I will give it a try..
