    Default Why is she flowering?!

I took some clones from a speed&sweet auto female that flowered to early. this clone (and I think the other one, too) just took first roots and already begins blooming.
They're under 18 hours of fluorescent light a day. Is there anything I can do to make the girls back to flowering?

Its coz you took cuttings from an auto! Autos have a life cycle so those cuttings will already be somewhat way through their life.

I've heard you can mother auto's, so you should be okay to take cuttings too. Although I wouldn't bother.

I'd take cuts from a photoperiod plant.

Getting to the flowering stage is different for every plant. If you’re growing indoors, then you have control over when the plant will start flowering. If you’re growing outdoors, however, the plants will only start flowering once certain lightness and darkness quotas are met. Unless you’re using an autoflowering variety, then having a set amount of complete darkness every night is necessary to get the plants to flower. You can try the best quality of LED Grow lights, that would help. Try different stores, or you can go to Aeon Grow and ask advices in that regard.

I'll just back up what has already been said .... you can't take cuts from autos as they are not photoperiod and will still flower . you may slow them down a bit as the cuts root but you will never return them to veg . Just get some photo strains and stop messing with the autos if your wanting a plant to take cuts from . G

You can take as many cuts from autos as you want. It's doesn't mean you can change the biological clock of the plant. This means that, although it had a break when rooting, the second it's developed those roots it will start to flower again.

Keeping autos as mothers is not advised.
Most people in my opinion keep a mother auto because it didn't have enough "auto genes" to flower and so technically is a photoperiod plant.
I have never seen an actual auto flowering plant be kept in veg stage and treated like a mother. I've rad about it lots but I am skeptical.

It's possible but it depends entirely on the breeding stances, 99% of e time they will hermie. A friend tried a few times, then I looked into it and found that out

When you clone an auto you clone it at the age it is. Think dolly the sheep...

Automatic plants are automatic and you can't stop them from flowering and taking cuts is just pointless as your taking a cut from a plant that if it's not already flowering will flower anyway because it's automatic. All clones from photos or auto will be a age identical hence the word clone . But clones from photos can be revegged or just vegged but a auto is automatic. The clue is in the name.
