Defoliation experiment

Hi quick update.... I couldn't get a clear pic of the defoliated and un- defoliated (dono I that's a word? Lol) side by side as my tents backed up to the wall in my bedroom I have got some pics for comparison the difference now is quite substantial I'm defiantly sold on the defoliation method and will be trying it on my next grow for sure
Here you can see the buds filling it quite well and frosting up majorly

Even my lower buds are big wouldn't even consider them as lower buds 😏
Whereas on the other hand the all natural plant seems a little behind

Fair play to you here mate. I know what your saying... People say you can, people say you can't.... I personally think it's people own opinion, like I never take any leafs off if I don't have too, I like to tuck them out of the way, as I think if the plant didn't need them... They wouldn't grow them in the first place but yes... There's God knows how many threads on here asking the question !

I still believe larger fan leaves have served their purpose once all upward growth has stopped and the veg cycle is over and the plants are in true flower. Ive had 3 sessions on my autos in NFT, filled around 3/4 carrier bags full of dinner plate sized fan leaves, if id have left them all on it would be a right shit state in the tent now, but by removing them once they were in flower then it allows more space for bud growth and better light access lower down

Hey mate, I have 8 plants in my tent the first 4 have all been defoliated but I left the back to all natural as they were the hardest to get to and thought it'd be a good way to compare but shit to take pictures, next time il try be smart and have them side by side for comparison.... But underplayed plant barly has any bud on it compared the othe others though
