Default Dutch Passion Strawberry Cough advice on harvest

Hi all. I currently have a Dutch Passion Strawberry Cough at day 43 of 12/12. The plant is meant to need an 8 week flower time but I know that the seed companies under exagerate the time needed.

I am pushed for space and need the tent to put my other plants into flower and was wondering when could I harvest at a time I can get decent results?

Anyone here with experience of growing this?

    Thanks for the replies.

All you can do really mate is check the trichomes with a jewellers loupe, you can get one off ebay for a couple of quid just make sure its from the UK and not china or hong kong cause itl take 3 weeks to turn up if so

7-8 weeks is around the average for photoperiods, it tends to be autos that the breeders lie about the finishing times.

is that 7-8 weeks of 12/12 or 7/8 weeks AFTER the first 2 weeks of 12/12, (a preflower sort of stage)?

I have my loupe and will be checking but I was wondering what others experiences are so I can sort of plan. I have 3 clones of her in pots and I need to plant up and use the tent. If I only had another 2 weeks I would hold out but another 4/5 weeks I would see about building a make shift home for the mother.

Thanks foe getting back to me.

Thatl teach u to start seeds off when the others aint done

I did it on my first grow once, I had 5 plants in a 80x80 tent, but germed two autos, but then the ones in the tent took longer to finish than Id anticipated so i ended up having these 2 newest plants outside the tent with the door wrapped around the pots, bad idea, smell leaks the lot

The only TRUE way to know whether your plants are ready for harvest is to look at them through a loupe. You can get a decent quality one for around $20 or less. You can look at them all day long, but until you can actually see the trichomes and tell whether you have amber or how much amber you have, you'll just be guessing. Too much time and effort to grow these to guess whether they are mature or not...so order yourself a loupe. If your others are in veg, then just let them continue to grow while you finish the others off. You can't rush greatness!! Happy growing!! TWW

Had to take clones before putting her into flower! Although I have done that with seeds in the past.

I do have a loupe but I was trying to plan ahead - a rough idea of 12/12 time would let me plan accordingly.
